The total number of active listings decreased by 6.6% to 651 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $675,397. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 7.3 percent from June to July. The number of homes sold in July increased by 12 percent from June with 292 SFR home sales. July averaged 36 days to sell, a 21 percent decrease from June. July ended with 2 months of inventory, a 33 percent decrease from June.

Condos & Townhomes**: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $399,258. The average sales price around SCV went down 1.4 percent from June to July. The number of home sales increased by 9 percent in July with 88 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 186, which increased 9% from June. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 17 percent from June with 123 new listings in July. July averaged 27 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 6.4 percent from June to July. The number of homes sold in July increased by 12 percent with 308 SFR home sales. In July, days to sell averaged 36 days and ended with 2 months of inventory, a 33 percent decline.

Condos & Townhomes**: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $399,258. The average sales price around SCV went down 1.4 percent from June to July. The number of home sales increased by 9 percent in July with 88 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 186, which increased 9% from June. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 17 percent from June with 123 new listings in July. July averaged 27 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The total number of active listings decreased by 5 percent to 650 total active listings from year-to-year. The average sales price in the SCV area is $675,397. The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area went up by 4.3 percent year-to-year. The number of homes sold in July 2019 increased by 21 percent from July 2018 to 292 SFR home sales.
