SFR: The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area saw no change from August 2019 to September 2019, ending the month with 283 new listings. The total number of active listings decreased by 9% to 616 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $661,457. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 0.2 percent from August to September. The number of homes sold in September decreased by 21 percent with 233 SFR home sales. In September, days to sell averaged 38 days and ended with 3 months of inventory.

Condos/Townhomes: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $377,237. The average sales price around SCV went down 5.7 percent from August to September. The number of home sales decreased by 28 percent in September with 76 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 165, which decreased by 4% from August. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 3 percent from August with 97 new listings in September. September averaged 29 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The total number of active listings decreased by 12% to 520 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $659,993. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 0.2 percent from August to September. The number of homes sold in September decreased by 21 percent from August with 223 SFR home sales. September averaged 36 days to sell, a 3 percent increase from August. September ended with 2 months of inventory, no change from August.

Condos/Townhomes: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $377,237. The average sales price around SCV went down 5.7 percent from August to September. The number of home sales decreased by 28 percent in September with 76 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 165, which decreased by 4% from August. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 3 percent from August with 97 new listings in September. September averaged 29 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The total number of active listings decreased by 25 percent to 520 total active listings from year-to-year. The average sales price in the SCV area is $659,993. The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area went up by 3 percent from year-to-year. The number of homes sold in September 2019 increased by 23 percent from September 2018 to 223 SFR home sales.
