SFR:  The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area saw a 16% decrease from September 2019 to October 2019, ending the month with 240 new listings. The total number of active listings decreased by 13% to 555 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $675,403. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 2.4% from September to October. The number of home sales in October increased by 9% with 250 homes sold. In October, days to sell averaged 46 days and ended with 2 months of inventory.

Condos/Townhomes:  The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $405,622. The average sales price around SCV went up 7.5% from September to October. The number of home sales increased by 21% in October with 92 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 140, which decreased by 19% from September. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 10% from September with 86 new listings in October. October averaged 29 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The total number of active listings decreased by 13% to 468 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $669,166. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 1.7% from September to October. The number of homes sold in October increased by 4 percent from September with 228 SFR home sales. October averaged 39 days to sell, a 5.4% increase from September. October ended with 2 months of inventory, no change from September.

Condos/Townhomes:  The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $405,622. The average sales price around SCV went up 7.5% from September to October. The number of home sales increased by 21% in October with 92 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 140, which decreased by 19% from September. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 10% from September with 86 new listings in October. October averaged 29 days to sell and ended with 2 months of inventory.

The total number of active listings decreased by 29% to 468 total active listings from year-to-year. The average sales price in the SCV area is $669,166. The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area went up by 7 percent from year-to-year. The number of homes sold in October 2019 increased by 16% from October 2018 to 228 SFR home sales.
