SFR: The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 6% from February to March, ending the month with 257 new listings. The total number of active listings decreased by 8% to 403 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $671,433. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 4% from February to March. The number of home sales in March increased by 26% with 225 homes sold. In March, days to sell averaged 36 days and ended with 2.4 months of inventory.

Condos/Townhomes: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $408,046. The average sales price increased by 4% from February to March. The number of sales increased by 1% in March with 89 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 126, a decrease of 5% from February. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 20% from February with 89 new listings in March.

The total number of active listings decreased by 5% to 352 total active listings. The average sales price in the SCV area is $670,004. The average sales price of SFR in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 3.4%. The number of homes sold in March increased by 21 percent from February with 201 SFR home sales. March averaged 29 days to sell, a 26% decrease from February. March ended with 2.5 months of inventory, a 9% decrease from February.

Condos/Townhomes: The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area is $408,046. The average sales price increased by 4% from February to March. The number of sales increased by 1% in March with 89 sales. Santa Clarita Valley area’s condos & townhomes resale inventory is 126, a decrease of 5% from February. The number of new listings in the Santa Clarita Valley area decreased by 20% from February with 89 new listings in March.

The average sales price in the Santa Clarita Valley area increased by 4% from year-to-year. The number of homes sold in March 2020 increased by 5% from March 2019 to 201 SFR home sales. The average days to sell in March 2020 was 29 days, a 37% decrease from March 2019.
